1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Spacepedia ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

If you are a parent or guardian agreeing to these Terms on behalf of your child, you represent that you have the legal authority to bind your child to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Spacepedia is an educational mobile application designed for children aged 4 and older. The App provides:

• Educational content about space, planets, stars, and the universe
• Beautiful illustrations and visual content
• Voice narration for younger children
• Interactive quizzes and learning activities
• Multi-language support (English, Czech, Spanish, German)

3. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, I grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on your personal mobile device(s)
• Use the App for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes

4. Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the App for any commercial purpose
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems
• Use any automated means to access or collect data from the App

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content in the App, including but not limited to:

• Text, articles, and educational content
• Illustrations, images, and graphics
• Audio files and voice narration
• App design and user interface
• Software code and functionality
• Trademarks, logos, and branding

is owned by Spacepedia (Štěpán Šanda) or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use any content from the App without my prior written permission.

6. User Responsibilities

6.1 Parental Supervision

While Spacepedia is designed to be safe for children, I encourage parents and guardians to:

• Supervise their children's use of the App
• Discuss the educational content with their children
• Ensure the App is appropriate for their child's age and development

6.2 Device Requirements

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring your device meets the minimum requirements for the App
• Maintaining your device's security and software updates
• Any costs associated with your internet service or device

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

I do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or other harmful components
• The educational content is complete or meets any specific curriculum standards

8. Educational Content Disclaimer

The content in Spacepedia is designed for educational and entertainment purposes. While I strive for accuracy:

• Scientific knowledge evolves, and some information may become outdated
• Content is simplified for children and may not include all nuances
• The App is not intended to replace formal education or professional advice

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Spacepedia, its developer, affiliates, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Device damage or data loss
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App

My total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spacepedia and its developer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. App Store Terms

If you downloaded the App from Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you also agree to comply with their respective terms of service:

• Apple's Terms of Service for App Store
• Google Play Terms of Service

In case of conflict between these Terms and the app store terms, the more restrictive terms shall apply.

12. Updates and Modifications

I may:

• Update the App to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance
• Modify or discontinue any part of the App at any time
• Update these Terms with reasonable notice

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

I may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that I believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, me, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of the Czech Republic.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Spacepedia regarding your use of the App.
